“I Cheated On My Wife To Make Her Lose Weight” – Kenyan Man Says

  The man, while speaking to a televangelist whom he and his wife had visited for counseling after she found out he cheated on her, said he did it to make her lose weight. According to him, when he first met his wife in 2017, she was slim, which was one of the reasons he loved her, but after they got married in 2020, she started to gain weight and became less attractive in his eyes. He said he signed her up at a gym in a bid to make her return to her former figure, but it didn’t work. He recalled once asking her the reason for her sudden weight gain, and she told him it was because she had peace of mind. PHOTOS: Travellers stranded as protesting students block Gbongan/Ibadan expressway

Thousands of travellers and motorists were stranded on Thursday in Osun State when students under the aegis of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) mounted barricades on Gbongan/Ibadan expressway to protest the prolonged strike action by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU). The students stormed the Gbongan bridge area in Ayedaade Local Government of Osun State around 12 pm to mount a barricade, halting vehicular movement. Some motorists took alternative routes to maneuver the barricaded portion of the road. The protest lasted for about three hours as motorists and passengers plying the road were languishing over the inconveniences.

Ukrainian President, Zelenskyy, Involved In Car Crash

  Ukrainian President, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, was involved in a car crash early Thursday after a visit to a battlefield. According to his spokesperson, Sergii, in a Facebook post, Zelenskyy’s vehicle collided with another vehicle.  Nikiforov said he was not seriously injured in the accident.  Zelenskyy was returning to Kyiv from the Kharkiv region, where he visited troops in the recaptured city of Izium. -- Follow us for more breaking news and videos
